I bought this battery hoping it would at least come close the the original performance of Sony's Lithium battery. But so far, after 4 cycles of charging and testing, here are my results:
Camera: Sony Alpha 33
Memory: Patriot 16gb Class 10 memory card
Camera Settings: Steady-Shot off, Auto-focus off
Sony's Battery: (3) 29+minute video clips and (1) 18+ minute. Total Time: ~1hour 48minutes.
Zeiko's Battery: (1) 29+minute video clip and (1) 15+ minute video clip. Total Time: ~45minutes
The battery fits without having to use a shim. But less than half the performace from a battery with twice the power rating of the original is rather poor. 5 stars for a good fit, but 2 stars for performance. Overall I give it a 3 out of 5.
